Everyone need to make adjustments for Covid. These guys have done a great job. They no longer offer buffet but still have all you can eat. You order via an iPad and boom! Fresh sushi! I like it far better than buffet. Food is fresh and tasty and service is great. Not a fan of the miso but that’s personal preference. It’s more of a sweet kind. View all feedback.
What Dawn M doesn't like about I Love Sushi:
I grab a few rolls from this place whenever we stop in Regina for the night. It costs about $35 bucks to get 4-5 different rolls, but the key is paying cash and taking out. They have a half price menu which is sufficient to satisfy a sushi craving. Rolls are a good size (usually 6-8 large pieces) and pretty tasty. Our family loves sushi so to find a restaurant called I Love Sushi seemed the right place to have lunch. Worst sushi we have ever eaten. Actually worst meal in a restaurant that we have ever had. The food is not edible. The chicken is slimy. It’s old, cold and possibly re-heated. We tried buffet and ordering from the tablet. We left most of the food because we were worried we would get sick. We told them it was not edible and they gave us a 10% discount. I thought it should have been “no charge” it was that bad
My family and I have visited I love sushi many times prior to the new management and always enjoyed ourselves. Today we went and it was horrible. The sushi was soggy, the food in the buffet was cold and sparse. Dirty. This place has gone down hill big time. Not once where we asked how things were. Very disappointed and a huge waist of $100.00. take your money elsewhere. We will not be back.
Unbelievable how things have changed, the prices have increased to $20 for lunch and $30 for dinner. The floor was filthy in the restaurant as were the washrooms with something? running down the walls, filthy sinks, floors and toilets. The food well some of the buffet was cold that wasn't suppose to be cold, the sushi rice was old sticky and cold and the fish on the sushi was old. Perhaps they are too busy for the staff they have or maybe they just don't care anymore. I think there should be a health inspection done. I'm done, we won't be back.
This restraunt use to be my absolute favorite sushi restraunt I regina. Haven't been here in a year or so and the food has definitely gone down hill. The quality just doesn't seem to be there. Fish doesn't seem fresh, looks and tastes frozen. Sea weed wraps aren't great seen synthetic even the rice is weird. This place use to be very busy all the time and it sure shows now. Cheap out on food quality and loose customers.
So we decided to stop at I love sushi today for the first time and last time the server we got was very unwelcoming she was busy on her phone I had to go up to the counter to get her she seemed annoyed when I went to get her we got no plates no cutlery for the baby to eat with gave me a dirty cup with something floating on the ice I didn't drink it dropped part of our meal her shift was done then the second server came on dropped the rest of our food didn't come to check on the table at all we didn't even eat the food I got up to pay and leave I asked for the servers names but was told no so I don't know there names either of them the bathrooms were dirty highchair was dirty the food was ok that they served us the sad thing is the place would do so much better with the right servers and a bit of cleaning.
