This is a small restaurant in Regina Saskatchewan run by a very nice family. The food was excellent and the food was served quickly and piping hot. Some of the best ginger beef we’ve ever had. No offer of tea or menu. Server just started giving a list of things that is on dim sum that we could order but no dim sum menu. No cart, just servers carrying out 4 dishes at a time and saying do you want this. No sauces although the cart sitting near the kitchen had sauces. Everything was bland, pork ball meat was rancide. Hidden gem. I was looking into Zomato for dim sum restaurant in Regina and four seas came up, It had mixed reviews but I thought what the heck I might as well try it and I was closer to it from my hotel. I was the very first first one there when it opened and was greeted by a nice waitress. The exterior of this place is not very inviting but once you go inside it seems OK but there was kind of a fishy smell where I Was seated. I ordered about four things from the menu they also show you a card with some food on it and then ask you if you want any of those and then they cook it for you the food was very good and the price was not bad and I would definitely come again to this restaurant.
The restaurant may not be fancy looking but the dimsum we had was very tasty. Everything was freshly made and not previously frozen. The best I’ve had in Regina.
Don't let the grimy exterior deter you from going in, this place has the best Chinese food in downtown Regina! Obviously check out the dim sum on the weekends. For other evenings, come in for a delicious meal. Never need a reservation (unless you have a big group for dim sum). My favourite dishes are the red oil wontons with noodles and the pork with green beans. Never short of garlic at this place.
Best Chinese Food in Regina. This is a truly authentic fabulous place! The make the tastiest dishes: Eggplant stir fry (amazing), Shanghai noodles (incredible) and many other authentic dishes. In fact, this is the only restaurant where I will go for Chinese food. Although the menu is complex, some of their best items have photographs for people to see what the dish looks like. For their weekend Dim Sam, they use traditional carts and i believe that they are the only Chinese restaurant in Regina that uses carts to serve Dim Sam (I find the carts to be an essential part of the Dim Sam experience). This is another restaurant that could use a better location but, if I want Chinese food in Regina, it is the only place I will go.
