We came here for their Sunday brunch. I had the traditional breakfast with bacon, eggs, toast and hash browns. It was really really delicious. The hash browns were perfectly crispy and fluffy. Best I've ever had. What made me happy was the fact they make all their own food fresh. Ketchup and mayo are all made in-house. Flip - the name of the establishment is appropriate because you'll flip over the ridiculously high priced drinks. There is 1 type of beer on tap, a ho-hum tasting light lager, and a pint is $13. Thirt. Teen. Dollars. The other mixed cocktails are all around $10-$11 for 1 oz. The food at Flip is great! It's some of the best we've experienced in Canada. We sat outside on a hot eveningThe beer was fresh and ice cold.
Ordered the burger with he fries The fires were fresh cut , crispy and seasoned well The burger was moist with good flavor.

It was quiet at lunch when we went, service was good, fairly quick, and food was delicious. The dill pickle fries and battered fish were highlights. Trendy, unique, and moderately priced.
Arrived early to beat the lunch crowd that I had heard frequents here. That crowd never came - which should have given me a hint that something wasn't right. Ordered the lunch special, which the waiter said was "pulled chicken sandwich with green salad". When it arrived my chicken was pork. Could have been a problem for some diners!!! My lunch companion had the tostado which arrived on a tiny, hard taco shell that there was no way to pick up and I was embarrassed for her as this was a business lunch. The waiter was inattentive and absent and they were not busy. The food is overpriced, the portions are small and plating was sloppy. Would not recommend eating here.
