Despite some issues with slow service and dry poutine, the large portions and attentive waitstaff were highlighted as positives by some diners. The cozy atmosphere, delicious food, and friendly staff received praise from others, with one guest even calling it an "Excellent place to eat." Overall, while some guests may have had issues with their visit, others found the food and service to be fantastic and recommended a return visit.
We ordered to go out and eat was fantastic. I had the neptunburger with pommes. the fish was not broken, which was great and was a great south-eastern castle. we also ordered the artichoke dip and it was rich and tasteful. my friend had the buttermilk chickenburger and she thought it was great. a job well done! eating was done quite fast.
This place is amazing! a hidden gem in the city that deserves to be discovered again and again! only the food presentation is worth it. please come to support this local masterpiece. they have sincerely the best pecan pie in whole canada. better than any other place I've been getting into this country for decades.
I was recommended in regina for the work and a server of another restaurant fireside for brunch (sat sun only I believe and let them tell them this place was amazing staff friendly, the place was comfortable and secret, eating came fast and the portions my gott! I ordered the classic eier benny (kept and it was gigantic (gnet to save the half for later)! the hollandaise was incredible and these hash browns. let me tell them they were totally crispy outside and literally clouds inside. 11/10 would recommend. I will definitely return to try more from their menu!
Very friendly and helpful staff for the first time in regina and in this restaurant. I ordered on the recommendation of the waitress and an older local lady who is familiar with the bistro. I had the seafood cahowder with the side of Cajun-Fries (I had to try) with a glass Canadian pino grigio (white wine). I enjoyed the chowder very (my first ever). it was very delicious. the fries had a bit too much spicy mix for my hair (fit my saturation point,) but the taste was nice and they were crunchy. the local wine was very beautiful. the waitress gave me the story of the pub (I was interested). I'd go back there.
I’m seriously jealous of those who live in Regina. You all could go to Fireside anytime you want. I dined there a few months ago while visiting from Vancouver that entire menu was awesome! Variety, prices atmosphere was incredible. I will for sure go back next time I’m in Regina! *Btw, at the time of this post that same steak dinner here in Vancouver is atleast $20 more not as good.
