This is the best Indian food I've had so far! We ordered the shrimp malai curry and chicken curry, and the flavors were truly unique compared to other Indian restaurants I've tried. The food was fresh and delicious. Our server, Anmol, was also really sweet and attentive. We definitely want to visit again! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Dawat India:
unprofessional staff, unreasonably cooked eating, and when I and my friends complained, the manager started screaming there. a part of our food was also inappropriately prepared. instead of exchanging these plates for us, as it would have been their duty, the manager began to argue with us. We are 7-8 people went on lunch. We ordered some non-veg dishes. Butter chicken and Karachi chicken was un cooked. We told to the waiter but he haven't replied to us. At the time of billing suddenly owner came and started shouting on us. One of the worst experience ever.
Won't recommend it food is good when you go for dine in. But service so poor. There is a person I think he works in the kitchen and he also do serving. He always have a dirty apron. He don't greet no nothing. Won't answer Any questions you ask. Another experience. I ordered food on skip and it has no taste specially if you compare with dine in and then I called at the restaurant they were very rude all they said that's how we make it.
Worst place ever! I placed my order through door dash and dawat accepted my order. After waiting for a long time my dasher told me there is some issue and i have to call the restaurant. I called them and they told me that they cant prepare my food because they dont have the ingredients. The person from dawat also told me that “its your fault that you placed that order”. What kind of customer service is that? If you didn’t have the ingredients why did you accept my order? If i could, i would have given them 0 stars. I would never order from that place ever again!
I recently ordered panipuri from this restaurant. I was quite disappointed with the quality. the actual Gongappe/door was the dried Fryum type. they were not the original Greeks puris. that is not expected from a restaurant. good quality restaurants make their own puris from ground up or pick them from someone who makes real pani puris. also the filling was disappointing. I am not sure whether this is a kind of filling given everywhere, but it consisted only of raw chole, swirling and few sliced kartomas sprinkled with salt and chili powder. it looked more like an salate than a panipuri filling. not safe, but I have eaten panipuri in several different states in india, north and south and this type of filling not seen everywhere. the only good one was the Spanish. the taste of the chip/water was really good. it was too spicy for me, but that was just me. the taste was otherwise good. my personal opinion is that this restaurant should either begin to make its own puris and make a proper filling or take it from the menu. it's pretty disappointing when we're leaning on and getting it. I know that we don't get authentic Indian taste in the country, but atleast fryums should not be sold in the name of panipuri. also just to clarify this review is only for panipuri.
