Waseda Giapponese - REGGIO NELL'EMILIA

I was a bit concerned the first time that I get here because I thought about another all you can eat with a poor quality. I changed my idea at the second nighiri I ate!! Excellent quality with a big choise, service is very quick and the staff friendly! Dinner menu 19.90€ included sashimi (pics uploaded)!! I deeply love sushi and I think that Sushiba and Waseda are the best restaurant in town!!!! Go there and share your opinion

My girlfriend and and I normally frequent another Sushi restaurant, which is temporarily closed. We visited Waseda, which I totally regret. The all you can eat lunch deal is very cheap, but that 's where the fun stops. We ordered many dishes to start with. The pictures looked very appetising, but the actual dishes looked like cat food and first class excrement. I pictured a chef who didn 't care about living or dying, locked in a dark room, chained to a wall and forced to make Sushi for eternity. The dishes took a long time to come out and were wrong a majority of times, nearly every time. Seasoning was terrible with too much salt and cheap ingredients. Cooked tuna tasted like it just came out of a can. By the time food came out, I was so hungry that I could have eaten anything. Picking up the Sushi was a challenge in itself. It started to disintegrate before I dipped in soy sauce. This was also caused because some sushi was cut too thinly. The great finale came with my last dish, tempura prawn-sushi. I went to pick it up and noticed something long, black and thin. I carefully removed it from between the rice and prawn. It was a long, black and curly hair, complete with root. I wanted to throw up. We walked up to the counter to pay and presented the hair and sushi on a plate. A small apology, but that was all. Not even an offer of a discount. There 's a security camera opposite where we were sitting, which saw everything. To summarise, the service is terrible and I wouldn 't serve the food to a stray dog. On the plus side, they gave me a free human hair at full cost. It may be cheap, but not worth the cost. Avoid at all costs, even the €10 lunch special.
