We found this place by luck . It is a 1930 building and the restaurant is on the first floor where the owners combined two appartments . Enormous windows with beautiful views on the corso lungo and some on the sea . What User doesn't like about Il Ducale:
The pasta was straight up bad, the bread was old and the meat was average at best. They dont accept credit cards and hardly speak any English. Not worth half of the money they charge. View all feedback.
20 euros for 3 slices of bread and some tomatoes plus we were lied to about the prices. Ultimately €60pp for average pasta dishes and sub-par starters and desserts.
They have high prices for little stuff, but the food is quite good.
The pasta I ordered (spaghetti alla ricciola) were absolutely tasteless despite ricciola was allegedly the catch of the day. Salmon was meh, not a great taste and also cut a bit too thin for my taste. Salad looked a bit rotten.
We had dinner at this place in early August, we stopped one night in the city and we got allied by the fixed menu of fish for euro, we did not check the reviews, otherwise maybe we would not have risked, fortunately. the place is very beautiful, it seems crystallized in the years wrinkled with chandeliers of murano and art nouveau furniture. we were greeted by a very kind lady who proposed us as linguine menu with curly and curly throw with salad contour for second. samo were satisfied, the fish was fresh, cooked well, especially the first was very delicate.
Decorative place. Madam, very kind. I ate a great first of linguine with the curly and more. excellent value for money. I wanted to see myself and I must say that I found myself very well
