Amore, Vino & Amici - Regensburg

We made a mistake and we dropped into Amore, Vino & Amici instead of trying harder to find the other Italian restaurant we were heading to. It was looking quite O.K. from outside and we found an interesting dish marked in the blackboard at the entrance: "Mediterranean risotto"- it happened that some days earlier we had experienced a marvelous "Mediterranean risotto" in Berghaupten and we were hopeful of a nice repetition but the dish we got in Amore, Vino & Amici was a dead loss. We got a glop which definitely did not resemble a decent risotto. The scallops were over dried and there was also a lack of vegetables which should accompany the dish (marsh samphire, olives or cherry tomatoes). I was quite hungry so I ate it with a considerable amount of a white wine from Piemonte (which was really good). My wife left the most of her risotto on her plate. A waiter cleaning the table looked astonished when after asking a standard question "did you enjoyed your meal?" got a straight answer that it was terrible. His response was far away from being a polite one. I paid the bill and we left the restaurant with a disgust promising not to repeat our mistake again.

Het is bijna voorbij, lunchtijd in Regensburg. Maar wij vonden per toeval restaurant AMORE, VINO & AMICI. Het was een zonnige vrijdagmiddag dat wij na het winkelen in Regensburg lekker trek hadden. Daar het ca 28 graden was gingen wij buiten op het terras een plekje zoeken. Wij bestelden eerst een Pils om de dorst te lessen. Daarna een Tagliatelle Selvati voor mijn vrouw en voor mij Scallopina al Chianti. Een heerlijke rode wijn Ripasso begeleide het eten.Prijs kwaliteit verhouding is zeer goed. Vriendelijke bediening.

Geschäftsreise, wie immer spät dran, aber um viertel nach zehn noch eine positive Antwort auf die Frage, ob es noch etwas zu essen gibt, was in Regensburg nicht Standard ist. Kurze Zusammenfassung....Aperol Spritz, sehr gute Mischung... Pizza mit Trüffelsalami...hervorragend, kleiner Salat perfekt.... Dazu gab es sogar Barbera im Glas,der auch von sehr guter Qualität war. Der Rest der Karte lässt zum wiederkommen ein. Dazu der Service sehr freundlich und schnell.... Von mir aus, sehr zu empfehlen....

Very nice food in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. The food was quickly served and the staff was helpful and kind.

Wir kehrten spontan gegen 22 Uhr in dem schönen Innenhof ein. Der Service war aufmerksam und sehr professionell, Getränke und Speisen wurden sehr schnell serviert. Das Vitello Tonnato war sehr fein und schmackhaft, die hausgemachte Pasta mit Trüffeln hätte etwas mehr Salz vertragen, aber zusätzlicher Parmesan wurde blitzschnell nachgeliefert. Der Beilagensalat war sehr gut, mit gutem Dressing, dem wir nur noch ein bisschen Öl und Essig zufügen mussten. Wir waren bei unserem kurzen Besuch zufrieden, die gesamte Speisekarte las sich sehr animierend, der Service war sehr freundlich.
