Absolutely delicious and super fast service from the chef and the bar staff. I hope you pay them well!

The se... read more Very impressed with the meal best meal on our West coast holiday. I had the salmon my husband had the ancient grain meal with monk fish both were superb! The service was friendly ultra efficient especially with the volume of customers she had to deal with. Highly recommended. Service: 5

Prices are well up and the s... read more This is a review of dinner at the pub. I’ve visited reefton many times and the food has always been good at Dawsons. Sadly not now. Prices are well up and the standard has really dropped. I had steak, chips and salad which used to be $34-36, but is now $44. Pretty much no love had gone into cooking the steak which wasn’t seared off and had been clearly dropped straight onto the top of the chips with no resting time. Not seasoned, plus the salad was this nasty tasting commercial dressing on it. My partners salad bowl was a real mix with the same bad dressing on the salad and hummus straight from a catering pack.

It was moderatel... read more I had dinner here on a Wednesday evening after staying overnight in Reefton. The staff at Reefton Distilling recommended this restaurant to us. It was moderately busy with a few tables in use, but there was plenty of space and they had no trouble seating our party of 2. They had a nice selection of beers and a few wines to choose from. The food was well-presented and delicious, and the atmosphere was welcoming. A bonus was being able to watch the Sky Sport rugby on the big screen. I would definitely consider returning if I am ever passing through Reefton again.
