Like the CUSTOMER SERVICE from Shelby. Very intentive, offers suggestions, works fast for a busy Saturday. Great pulled pork slaw.
A $22 steak dinner cooked to perfection with a couple $2 beers makes a perfect dinner! the atmosphere is like nothing else you can experience on this portion of the Oregon coast! Live bands on Saturday and karaoke throughout the week. There is alwayssomething to enjoy about the place. They always have some kind of special going on but I forget every time and just order thesteak. The Rust'd Star is pretty much the only bar I care to frequent.
The pizza here is fantastic, made with authentic Italian Caputo Flour. It has a nice crispiness to it. The burger was also excellent, and the side salad was a perfect complement. The bartender was friendly and engaging, adding to the enjoyable experience. We will definitely stop by again on our next visit to the coast.
Best thin crust pizza I have ever eaten. Wood fired oven. Had to wait a long time for food to be served but it was worth it!
Rust'd Star appears to be a newly opened bar and restaurant. I had dinner there and tried the BBQ ribs with Brussels sprouts. The meal was excellent, featuring tender pork and perfectly roasted sprouts, all for just $16. The dinner menu is a bit limited, with options like roast chicken, pork chop, steak, or ribs, plus a variety of burgers and sandwiches available at lunch. They offer a great selection of Defeat River beers, brewed nearby, along with a few choices from Bend's Boneyard Brewery. I would definitely come back for dinner; the food quality rivals that of Harbor Lights.
