This restaurant is located in a beautiful plaza and offers delicious Japanese dishes. I ordered a large bento box which included chicken teriyaki, salad, miso soup, tempura, and salmon sashimi. The salmon sashimi was a pleasant surprise with its thick slices. View all feedback.
What Miyouko W doesn't like about Sushi Plus:
Well, I seemed to have missed the mark this time. Despite being a popular spot, this restaurant is actually Korean owned. I heard the owner speaking Japanese before. I stopped by for a quick dinner and unfortunately, I was not impressed with the flavor. The nabeyaki was too salty and the chicken dish was lackluster. I ordered two rolls, but both the salmon and mango on top were poorly cut, as if done by an inexperien... View all feedback.
Busy place, huge menu. Fresh sushi, big pieces. Staff is nice and helpful. Even when they are extremely busy the servers are attentive to your needs. In a strip mall, isn't easily seen from the street. Plenty of parking. If you go at dinner time, be prepared to wait. I went early, around 5, 5.15 and got a seat right away. My boyfriend loved the Woodside Roll, I preferred the Volcano Roll. If you want to stick with Nigri or sashimi, you won't be disappointed.
I was looking for sushi while I was traveling, and I went here because it was receiving good reviews from Google. There was wide tables and bar table, so you can enjoy your meals with family or friends or alone. There are various menus such as sushi, sushi rolls, sashimi, ramen, etc. Especially, sushi rolls have a variety of options, you can choose one that suits your taste. Sashimi’ slices are very thick, so you can enjoy a wonderful texture and taste. Ramen is well matched with the other menus. Make sure to eat them together. At First time, I ate sushi for takeout. The food was well packed and maintained freshness. And next time, when I ate it in the restaurant, I can feel that all the staffs were very pleasant and kind. And the food service was quick that I had a great time for enjoy meal. Next time, I'll have sake or wine or beer with food in the restaurant. I strongly recommend this sushi restaurant.
I have to revise my earlier review. One rarely goes back to a bad restaurant but if a good one degrades you keep on going back hoping for improvements. Sushi+ used to be a great place. I have been there many times. The last 3 times, yes I gave them 3 chances, they have been poor. In particular their service and attitude has changed with success. After 3 times, I am done. The specifics are: Taste: 3 something is not as good as it was with their sushi Quality: 3 again, degraded Quantity: 3 this was their strong point that they brought reasonable portions no more Presentation: 3 ok Parking: 4 generally not difficult to park Service: 1 this area has really degraded Atmosphere: 3 same as before Wine/Sake: 3 just more expensive Value: 2 3 times is a lot of chances. I will not be going back unless someone drags me there.
The best sushi on the Peninsula! A true neighborhood joint we've been frequenting for years. You really can't go wrong with anything on the menu. The staff is so kind and accommodating as well!
Takeout order: 7/10 Salmon Hawaiian Poki $16 salmon with seaweed salad basically. Decent serving size but mainly seaweed. Everything was fresh but average in taste. 5/10 Miso Soup $4 on the salty side! Very little bits of tofu and seaweed. Definitely can pass on this.
