The food was really good the outdoor sitting is really nice. I think the only bad thing or I don't want to say bad but it's that I know its busy but there rushing out you dinner plate. I see people sitting talking after the plates have left but there not being rushed out. But your sitting there literally it seems like you just finished the last spoon there's someone there saying can I take that from you. Besides that... View all feedback.
What Kate L doesn't like about Quinto Sol:
This place is unbearably mediocre. The service isn?t very attentive, the food isn?t very good, and the prices are ridiculous. The chips aren?t very salty and aren?t as good as Chipotle?s across the street. The salsas are like soup. The rice is incredibly bland and not worth eating. The mole has a complex flavor but not one that makes you want more of it. The pork in the enchiladas is tough and in huge chunks that are... View all feedback.
I have been a loyal patron of this restaurant for more than 5 years. My go-to dishes are the chicken mole paired with a margarita, specifically the hija de madre, but I always ask for tequila instead of mezcal. The staff, particularly at the bar, are fantastic. I am looking forward to returning to town and enjoying another fantastic dining experience here.
As a Mexican, I am proud of how Quinto Sol represents my culture and Mexican culinary arts. The service is excellent from beginning to end, the atmosphere is lively, and the decor is visually appealing. The bar is always busy and the bartenders are friendly and knowledgeable. But the highlight of it all is the incredible, delicious, authentic food. The mole is to die for! The salsas are the best I've had in a while, and the Margaritas are amazing. Make sure to bring someone you really enjoy when you visit, it is truly spectacular!
The margaritas are fantastic. The chips and salsa make a great appetizer. I highly recommend the camarones al cilantro, it was delicious. The dining ambiance was pleasant with a live saxophone player.
The perfect place for a bite prior to a show at the Fox Theater or the Club Fox. It doesn 't feel as cramped or noisy as the other Sol restaurants, and the service and food has always been impeccable for us. The Lomo de Cerdo is unique among restaurants and a wonderful mix of flavors. Even the beans are better than most, flavorful without being salty. Their mole is wonderful; the enjococado could use some more bite, but that 's my personal preference.
It's all about the soup. Other stuff is fine, but the soups are killer.
