Big plates, friendly service and tasty food. We tried Margaritas' horchata tonight and we all loved it. And the outdoor seating makes the experience fabulous. Plenty of indoor seating too. We'll be back soon. View all feedback.
What themuppetlibrarian doesn't like about Margaritas Restaurant:
I appreciate they have vegan options but I think the drinks are good and the food is just ok. In this area there are so many places that serve margaritas and have vegan food options. So I usually skip this one. View all feedback.
I love this place. Living in Redwood City, it was my way to the restaurant to bring friends (vegan or not). There is a plant based on the menu, including artificial meat, tofu and vegan cheese. Everything very authentic and tasty. Pleasant qnd portions are quite large, I always get very happy home. And the margaritas are great!

You have a marked plant-based menu (5 elements). They also specify which items are cooked on the same surface as animal products I absolutely loved. It is nice that restaurants have this transparency for vegans who disturb or do not disturb such impurities. The food tasted very authentic and was delicious. I had the Mayan Tacos and my other family members had non-plant-based items they said was authentic tasting.
Many vegan options, even vegan section on menu. Loved the loaded nachos. Huge portions. And 3-5pm is happy hour so be sure to get the 8$ margaritas (super tasty), chips and guac for 8$, beers for maybe 4? Horhata for 4.50$ (normal price) is super yummy (creamy vegan drink made with rice, cinnamon, nutmeg. Burritos also looked giant. Loved this place. Friendly service.
A great option in Redwood City. They have a member of this family-owned establishment who is vegan and created the vegan menu. Enchiladas were amazing! Please note they use same oil for chips as they use for meat/fish but very kindly accommodated us with cucumbers instead of chips and easily left off the cheese on the guacamole
