The Mexican restaurant is a hidden gem in Redwood City. My wife and I love coming here whenever we're in town. It's hard to choose from the appetizers because they are all incredible. The ceviche is always fresh and perfectly balanced. This time, I tried the Camarones a la diabla which had the right amount of spice and was served on a bed of rice. A decent place. We celebrated birthday here and food was okay. We ordered some appetizers that weren't so great. Only the Ceviche was decent. Oysters had no taste and did not taste fresh. The food is decent . Service is fast. Very popular in the area. Recommend you to make the reservation for the visit.
I absolutely adore this restaurant! I have been a loyal customer for over 15 years and can't believe I haven't written a review until now. The Latin inspired seafood dishes are truly amazing and unlike anywhere else. I usually dine in, but recently tried their takeout and it was just as delicious.
Very nice place, clean and cozy, and love the atmosphere and vibrance of their murals. The ceviche was amazing and full of flavor. I also ordered fish and salmon tacos, which I thought was a little bland. But love the place.
The restaurant had some standout dishes and drinks were really good. I would not recommend the octopus or beef steak, but I definitely recommend the mushroom and pepper tacos. The churros were a major standout as well.
Pleasantly surprised by this restaurant it’s not the type of Mexican food that is too oily or creamy for us. Instead, this is more like a tapas place with quite some Spanish dishes. Drinks are cool as well. The location is on the edge of sketchy area; we kinda afraid someone might smash our car window…
