The ambiance at this restaurant is decent, but not exceptional. However, I experienced a long wait for my order and found the prices to be a bit high for the portion size. I may stick to my favorite pastry spot next time. The fish was fresh, but the serving size was small, possibly due to inexperienced workers not using the correct proportions of sauces and ingredients. The dish seemed to have too much rice compared to the protein. Despite the cost of nearly $20 for a medium dish, it was satisfactory but not outstanding. I don't plan on returning as I believe there are better tasting poke places out there that offer more value for your money.
I have visited Poke Square multiple times, mainly because of how delicious the poke is. However, the customer service leaves much to be desired. Orders are often incorrect when placed online, and in-person orders are sometimes left sitting on the counter for 5 minutes while the staff chat amongst themselves. It seems there is a lack of effective management and oversight. This can be quite frustrating. With some improvements in management, this place could be great.

The prices are higher compared to other poke places nearby and the portions are smaller.
I am deducting one star from my review due to a rude encounter upon entering the restaurant. I am from Orange County, where indoor dining without a mask is permitted, and this was my first time visiting. The incident put a damper on my day, but I did receive a generous portion of poke that I couldn't finish. The taste was decent, though slightly too salty and spicy for my liking.
