First time eating here, checked my yelp what ramen are in my area and this showed up so I tried it. It 's not bad pretty decent ramen, although for me the price is kinda high. I ordered the kick broth is good, but to me the noodles seems over cooked. I prefer my noodles to have some texture. Gyoza is good and I wish they have fried rice as a side dish. This ramen joint is not your authentic Japanese ramen, its more m... View all feedback.
What Laura Peters doesn't like about Kotsu Ramen Gyoza Redondo Beach:
My favorite meal was the Tonyu Curry with tofu. I have ordered in, had take take out as well as delivery...many times. I recently decided to cut unhealthy seed oil from my diet so I called to find out they use soybean oil (which they will not replace with a healthy oil) so I will unfortunately not be having it again. I gave 3 stars for this reason. If they replace the seed oil with a non-seed oil, I will definitely g... View all feedback.
I love this Ramen place great food and atmosphere I will be back again.
First time to this place, passed by it hundreds of times. As we entered we received a nice warm welcome and a smile. I asked what what the most popular item ordered was. He suggested the Kotsu Ramen. We ordered the Pork along with Pork Gyoza. Our order took only a few minutes to arrive hot. The presentation of the Katsu Bow was nicely done. The broth was eich and great tasting with the mild heat seasoning. It came with a half Century Egg which was great. The yolk was creamy and yum!. The pork is actually a nicely season THICK cut of bacon which went great with the soup Lots of noodles and cut green onions very filling. This bowl fed both of us. One of the top Ramen Places we've visited. The Gyoza was nicely steams with seasoned pork inside. Overall, this gets our yum award!!!!! On a added note the staff checked on us several times. He did this with everyone .

This ramen joint is not your authentic Japanese ramen, its more modernized and they have vegan options too. Would I come back? Probably? But there are better ramen joint outside Southbank area tbh. So I 'll say this place is alright.

This is the best vegan ramen I’ve had in LA. I tried the Tonyu Kick and it was delicious. The brussel sprouts were perfectly fried, the broth was insanely good, and the tofu was amazing. Can’t say enough good things about it. I’ll be back. I wish there was a location in Santa Monica or Venice.
