What User doesn't like about Yummy Teriyaki:
We got chicken teriyaki dinners and a tempura dinner and chicken fried rice. We all agreed it was pretty much mediocre. The Chicken fried rice had kind of big hunks of teriyaki chicken in it, not chopped up ones like most do. The temp was better than Himitsus' but it was uneven and there was a lot of dough on some of the pieces. But the biggest disappointment was cabbage for salad, I can't eat cabbage, and I've never... I have been a loyal customer at this restaurant for my entire life and I have always enjoyed their delicious and consistently good teriyaki. The chicken teriyaki is my favorite and it brings back childhood memories for me. It has become a tradition for my family to dine here because the food is so tasty and the portions are huge - my takeout lasts me at least two days. I also recommend trying the miso soup, while my daughter, who is 5 years old, loves the sushi. The sushi here is simple, which is typical for a teriyaki restaurant, but it is perfect for my young child. As an adult, I usually prefer sushi from a Japanese sushi bar, but I appreciate the simple and delicious sushi that I can enjoy with my children at this restaurant.
Yummy Teriyaki is definitely delicious and very reasonably priced. I only tried the chicken teriyaki during my first visit, but I was not disappointed. They gave me a generous portion of chicken along with a side of smashed cauliflower and a thick, sweet salad dressing. Overall, everything was good! The rice was cooked perfectly and the teriyaki sauce was sweet and not too salty or thick. The service was great, despite the COVID-19 restrictions in place. There is plenty of parking available in front of the restaurant.
This is the top Teriyaki spot in all of Redmond. I've tried them all, with friends insisting that others are superior, but I have to disagree. This place is the best. The portions are generous for the price, they offer a great selection, and they don't use tough meat like many other Teriyaki spots around here. Nothing else comes close.
Yummy teriyaki is the best teriyaki on this side of washingtoner sees. each dish is made fresh, the portions are massive, and the aromes are bright. yummy is a midday counter-style business that goes a little further with smaller table service. I always tip, although I clean my own teller, because the service constantly passes to clean and remove empty dishes. the restaurant is also quickly clean and well maintained. eating is also stacking. each dish is delicious and fresh. meat is delicate, tempura are crisp, gyoza are crisp, and everything has a bright taste that speaks of care in the kitchen.
With a name like Yummy Teriyaki I had to order the teriyaki. It was very good. Bet you thought I was going to say Yummy, that description is also correct. Great food, large portion sizes and a good price. If your a brown rice fan like me they have that as an option. A lot of people ordered the spicy chicken they have a spicy index so you can get just the right amount of spice. I will try that next time...
