Hello Poke - Redmond

During my time in Redmond, I’ve dined at Hello Poke more than any other restaurant, and I keep returning. It offers the best value for money compared to similar places and consistently delivers high quality. The kiosk ordering system is quick and straightforward, making it a great choice for both customers and staff. The service is always fast, and I believe this newer setup enhances efficiency even further. The interior is always clean, but nothing beats enjoying a meal in Downtown Park just across the street!

The serving size is too small. I ordered a bowl with three proteins and brown rice, but it was less than half full. I can't justify the $17.99 price when I compare it to Just Poke.

This is the best poke I've ever had! All the ingredients are incredibly fresh and perfectly cut in the ideal sizes. You absolutely have to try it! I've eaten here dozens of times, and each visit has been perfect.

The salmon and tuna were both tender and of high quality, but I wasn't a fan of the way the poke bowl was prepared. I chose the citrus shoyu sauce and the spicy mayo, but I found the shoyu to be too heavy, soaking the rice throughout the bowl. The citrus shoyu has a very sweet flavor, and without any plain, unsauced rice to balance it out, the sweetness becomes overwhelming.

The food here is excellent, offering a wide range of customization options. The restaurant is somewhat small, but it's conveniently located next to the park, which provides ample outdoor seating. Food: 5/5.
