Spaghetti Factory The Old - Redlands

Our waiter was great, had our food and appetizers to our table quickly and checked on us and removed the used dishes promptly. The food is delicious and it comes with fresh and warm bread and butter, and spumoni ice cream after. The host when we firstwent in did leave us standing, while he helped with a pick up order, for about 15 minutes before he acknowledged us.

Went there for lunch with the wife and it was great! I highly recommend this restaurant. Food was delicious and the service was excellent. The inside of the restaurant was extraordinary. With the old retro style trolly sitting in the middle almostmade me feel like I was outside, in san Francisco.

Drinks and food was delicious. Kids meals are great portions. Kids meal was spinach ravioli. Amazing Fresh bread was brought right away. Spaghetti and meat sauce with meatballs was delicious. If course I love the house dressing for my salad. Cant gowrong.

Positives The Factory itself looks to be in great condition and gives you a great feel when dining in. We were sat within 5 minutes upon arrival without a reservation. They seem to offer a great selection of options for food. We sat in the trolley,very cool idea and we enjoyed the seat. Even though , in the trolley, we had very poor lighting to the point of having to squintto see food or menu items. The seating on the wall seemed more comfortable. Food runner and server seemed friendly innature. We were given 2 old spaghetti factory cups, which were used later that night for a great mixedcocktail. Negatives *The host and waiter seemed to not enjoy their jobs. The waiter seemed to have little to no menuknowledge. *The Italian soda had a very syrupy taste and was mainly carbonation. *The same tomato sauce that was provided forthe garlic bread, was also the same sauce for my chicken parmigiana. *We had thought the sauce may have came out of a can, thewaiter confirmed that it did come from a can. *I asked for coffee and the server told me that the coffee taste like poop, thathe wouldn't recommend it because he wanted us to have a great experience and that the coffee would ruin that experience for us.We did not order coffee. The setting was fun, albeit a bit arrogant (which was intentional, so take that with a grain of salt) The broccoli, butter, and cheese starter was probably the best dish of the night. I ordered the famous baked lasagna, and the lasagna itself wasperfectly fine, but not amazing. Almost not ricotta cheese, but a good amount of sausage and marinara sauce. But then theytopped with a different tomato sauce that was way too sweet for my taste. But the service was top tier! Everyone was friendlyand responsive, and took great care of us. Would've gotten 5 stars if that sauce wasn't overwhelmingly sweet.
