Back in the 1970s dining room with really cool double padded bucket seats on the counter. Great location on the Grand River only south of 8 miles. A regular hangout for 3 family generation, waiters seem to know all regular guests. Great breakfast again! We must love this place. They know how to treat people and they know how to cook. Never need a menu because all poster specials are the best offers in the city...
We had a taste for breakfast foods for dinner. Boy, did this work out well. We got carry out and the pancakes were really tasty. They even melted butter into the warm syrup, which was amazing. Everyone was so nice and accommodating. We will for sure be going back.
It was my first time there and it definitely WILL NOT be my last. It was like Cheers where all the customers and staff knew each other. Small and cozy like an old time restaurant with a nice warm homey atmosphere. The food was very good, hot and a nice proportion. I had the roast beef sandwich with gravey and potatoes (two thumbs up)..... looking forward to trying their chicken.
