Captain Jay's Fish Chicken

This restaurant definitely deserves praise. The biscuits are fantastic, the food is delicious and not greasy. The fries were cooked perfectly, though they could use a bit more seasoning. Shoutout to the front of house staff - great job! Jay's in Oak Park and Lodge has some competition with this spot being the cleanest one around.

I had a disappointing experience with my order at this restaurant. I called to express my concerns and they invited me to bring it back in. When I arrived and explained my dissatisfaction, the staff was extremely friendly, accommodating, and apologized for any inconvenience caused. They promptly corrected the issue and I am now a loyal customer of this fast food joint!

I ordered food from this restaurant and it was fried too crispy! The food was fresh but overly cooked, almost like eating potato chips. I prefer my food cooked, but not to the point of being overdone. I could only eat the okra, which was also very crunchy. It would be better if they removed the meat a minute or two earlier than usual. It was also disappointing that they don't fix incorrect orders when mistakes are made. #IDidNOTOrderFishCHIPS

A little pricey, but the staff is usually pretty good and the chicken is awesome with their lemon pepper. Wish ordering online was simpler because calling isn't always a smooth process.

I purchased a meal from this location on ubereats, the app wouldn?t let me specify which cheesecake i wanted so i called the store and politely asked if they could give me the strawberry one. The person on the phone responded with a rude ?okay.? Iproceeded to tell them the name of my order but i was rudely cut off to them saying ?i know which one it is.? And they hung up.When my food arrived i saw that my drink was missing which i was pretty upset about. But then i opened my cheesecake and IT HADMOLD ON IT !!! i wish i could give this store negative stars because the person on the phone was not pleasant at all and i wasset up. Never ordering from here again.
