This pub is in the middle of nowhere on the way to Lake Eppalock. It's picturesque with lovely grape vines hanging over the lovely veranda. We sat at a table out the front and watched the traffic go by. Service was good and the food is also good. My partners T Bone steak was cooked to his liking his only feedback was that there was not enough peppercorn sauce on his steak. My Eggplant parmigiana was also tasty and to... View all feedback.
We dropped in on our way back from our winery visit and were warmly welcomed by Beth, who was lovely and very helpful, explaining the specials and local produce to us and helping us choose a lovely local Shiraz to enjoy with our meal. We had the Lambs Fry and Bacon, (they were more than happy to substitute the creamy Nash with extra veggies for me) and the Chicken Parma with home made crispy chips. Both meals we happily devoured. There was plenty of space to move around and local artist was exhibiting on the walls which added to the charm. All up a great meal, venue and friendly service, we will definitely be back.
I love the Redesdale, a beautiful old country pub serving your classic pub faves created with love and care. The Beef and Guinness pie with creamy mash took pub grub to the next level and all meals appeared to be crafted with equal care. Do yourself a favor and pull up a chair under the lovely grapevines on the old verandah this autumn and enjoy.
Just a great country pub with a terrific atmosphere and wonderful tucker. Service was excellent and the wine selection very good.

It's well worth a stop at this very old hotel you won't e dissapointed.
We stopped here between Kyneton and Healesville due to some good Trip Advisor write ups. We were not disappointed. It is a good break from the wineries. The young girl with the coloured hairs was really nice, helpful and had a great sense of humour. She recommended a few dishes and accompanying wine which turned out well. The steak was very tender and came with garden fresh veges. You could taste the difference. A serving of lambs fry was huge. My friend loved it.The mushroom risotto was very tasty and also a good serve. It has a quaint little bar out front. Plenty of seating outside too for a nice sunny day. Plenty of parking.Overall, I am looking forward to coming back.
