The live band we saw on the Sunday (Steel Wizard) play there quite regularly and they were very entertaining. The sound quality in the room was surprisingly good and it would be nice to see the live band there on a Saturday evening (instead of a Sunday) so we could really make a night of it. There was a DJ on the Saturday night. On both occasions the bar was very busy with a lively atmosphere and friendly vibe. The staff are very welcoming, the drinks prices are extremely reasonable and they have a huge selection of spirits. We’re looking forward to our next visit as it’s a great place to meet up with friends and enjoy a lively night out.

One barmaid was busy with glasses while the other was stocking the fridge and shelves with bottles. We waited to be served but eventually left without being attended to, deciding to go somewhere else instead.

It feels like a cafeteria trying to be a fancy restaurant. It's a shame because the food is actually quite good.

Unfortunately the great staff that were there previously were no longer there. The was food average and the service rubbish, wont be rushing back!
