The price w... read more Perhaps it was because they start shutting down at 10.30 and I got in at 10.28 ? Anyway, I went for the chicken in lemon sauce with EFR and a pepsi. The price was fair but when I got the meal home, having not eaten since breakfast I found the chicken to be tough, so over cooked it would not cut. The rice was burned. The pepsi was OK. Perhaps next time ill go at 7.00 pm and not in last orders.

There's some vegetarian options too. I'm a vegetarian and tried this delicious spicy vegetable soup dish which was really tasty and filling. The shop is very small so you have to stand and wait, no chairs etc.. but this literally is fast food, a few minutes and you're done. The prices are ok, about what you'd expect but the quality is more than expected and the food is nicely packed. The food is prepared while you wait. Sam Pan is usually open late into the evenings and weekends. I like how all the menu has numbers clear descriptions and easy numbers so you can just say what you like. They usually employ English speaking person to take the orders. However the restaurant is owned by Chinese people who cook all the food and you can often see out at the back taking a break with lots of steam coming around their door at night lol

Unfortunately, the quality and taste of the dishes were lacking compared to my previous experiences. It's a shame as the food used to be fairly decent in the past.
