I've been on the meadow farm for a long time. but today was bad, chief did not arrive, management di nt come to apologize, but a waitress sent to do it for her, a personal apology would have meant much more. will not go back.

I visited meadow farm with my family for my birthday we had a few days before telephoned to let them know that it was a big party where she assured us would not be a problem just to talk to a waitress at the arrival. the waitress we originally talked about a table for was nice, but the waitress that prepared our table was not. we just wanted to sit on our table as I had my year old daughter with me, said the waitress, we couldn't, because our table was not ready, we explained that we didn't make this, but she left the best serviettes on the table, told us to do it ourselves, we were not happy. we then had to wait for half an hour, between the ordering of our foods that receive our appetizers, we have eaten this as other nights that had arrived after we had their appetizers before we had our appetizers, the waiter with whom we were just talking about it again is not happy, so we had a word with the manager who had offered us free whispering, with him my mother's starter wasn't what she ordered, so we took it back with the managerin, who said all the starters would take off our bill. my daughter at this point became angry and creepy, other dinner because of the fact that she had hunger, but with us had not yet replaced our main courses and my mother's wrong starter. we decided to go, we spoke the managerin on the way out, which was very annoyed in the service, or it was lacking that we received, but we had already left our heads, the waitress who had left us to lay our own table, was told to announce our order as we go to which she answered to see her with a posture. we went to the house and ordered take! we will not be back to meadow farm!

The staff is attentive and welcoming, and they even host a free quiz night on Thursdays! Perfect spot for couples, groups, and families, as they have a children's playground outside. High recommendation!

We asked for... read more We came to the restaurant for a family meal. We'll the 3 of us. The bar staff are very friendly and chirpy. One of us suffers from Coeliac disease. We asked for advice on the gluten free menu and was informed well on the meals available. The meals arrived hot and cooked well. Very tasty too

Walking into the pub, the first obvious thing wa... read more Arriving at the hotel at approx 6pm, we were greeted by a sign saying to collect the key from the adjacent pub. Walking into the pub, the first obvious thing was the group of about 6 10 very drunk and incredibly loud and crass men. They were shouting horrible swear words at each other and continued to do so for about an hour. That aside, the drinks menu we were given had no prices on we know what they sell in bars what we're interested in is how much things cost. The meal we were served (just before 8pm when the kitchen closed) was at best barely acceptable and I wouldn't order another based on that. We were then told that last orders at the bar were at 10.30pm disappointing when we went out for my birthday and it was a Friday night. The staff were very friendly and the room was very clean/warm and for the price, I couldn't fault it. Would I go back? well for the price of the room yes. I guess we were unlucky with the rowdiness in the bar and it was late when we ordered food.
