Was 519andreaw at Flying Fish a mag?
We visited the local area for the weekend and popped into this chippy as it was close. We ordered a couple of different things off the menu, the fish batter was fluffy, the kebab meat wasn't greasy and the naan bread was the best I've ever had. Would definitely recommend to anyone. Was working around 20 mins away from here and when passing the lads stopped off for food. Asked me and i asked for some fish. Lasds ordered and paid for the food and on arrival back at work the fish was not in the bag. How difficult can it be to forget 1 of the 4 things you order View all feedback.
Went there today because my local chippy was closed and wow this blows it away, never again will I go local, I will travel a little further for this. Had kebab meat tray chips suasage and curry sauce big portions and very tasty. Five stars.

As a loyal customer of The Flying Fish for a long time, this recent experience has completely soured our relationship with the restaurant and we have decided not to return. We ordered a relatively simple meal on a Saturday afternoon, when we were seemingly the only customers, yet half of our order was missing. We were shocked by the decline in food quality; the chips were extremely dry and there was an unexpected "dirt" garnish on our food. The nuggets were disappointing compared to their previous quality and the cheesy chips lacked in cheesiness. We were left wondering if there was a change in ownership that caused this sudden drop in standards. Despite the missing items, we appreciate that the restaurant offered a refund. Overall, we were very disappointed with this experience and cannot understand why it happened. Unfortunately, we do not plan on returning to The Flying Fish in the future.
This fish and chip shop is excellent. They have a very professional staff and the atmosphere is great. The price per person is £1-10 for dinner. I highly recommend trying their Cod Fish and Chips, it's delicious. The food is a 5 out of 5 and the service is a 4 out of 5.
