It's wort... read more Despite these shortcomings, the coffee and tea were fantastic, the restrooms and restaurant were very clean, and the staff provided excellent service. It's worth noting that salt beef was not the main offering of this Turkish restaurant, so the pricing seemed akin to that of a cafe rather than a full restaurant.

It was extremely busy when we arrived, so we waited at the breakfast bar for a couple of minutes before our table was ready. The waiter greeted us warmly and was very professional and polite. The food we ordered was outstanding. I had the smashed avocado, smoked salmon, and poached eggs, and I will definitely return to try the many other options on the menu. One of my friends is vegan and was pleased with the variety of choices available for her. Another friend, who is a big meat eater, ordered the salt beef sandwich. The waiter recommended the large option, as the small one had a smaller portion of meat. When the sandwich arrived, we were all impressed by the generous amount of meat it contained. It also came with chips and coleslaw. The portion was so large that my friend couldn't finish it and took the leftovers home. The restaurant is spacious, with seating all around and comfortable sofas, making it a great option for families with young children. We will definitely be coming back to Rowans!

I ordered two and was taken aback by the high price, but I figured they must be delicious. However, I was very disappointed. The sandwiches had thin, limp slices of bread with only a tiny amount of salt beef in each one. It was definitely not worth paying over £11 for both! While the sandwiches looked nice in the café, I believe they should be more generous with the fillings. Overall, it didn't even come close to comparing to the salt beef sandwiches I had in Brick Lane.

Heard positive things and recommendations by many friends so headed down for Saturday brunch. We weren’t disappointed, the food was amazing and the service exceptional. There was a family feel to the place with the manager taking time to sit and chat with his regulars. Wide range of fresh food on the menu, my boyfriend had the chicken and steak club sandwich which came with a generous portion of chips and I went for one of the special offers from the board. Very impressed, Saturday brunches at Rowans will be a regular event for us!!!

They tried me out,?didn’t get away with it as I wrote down the prices as I went along and presented them with it at the till. I had a jacket potato with one filling but they tried to charge me for two. I refused to pay it and I didn’t leave a tip. If you don’t mind being ripped off, do visit as the food is pretty good. If however you prefer dealing with an honest business, go elsewhere. I wouldn’t go back. Being ripped off isn’t my style.

The food is fantastic, the coffee is top-notch, and the prices are great value for money.

The two men in the office suggested going to Rowans, located across the street, and ordering a Fully Loaded Salt Beef Bagel. All I can say is, WOW. The bagel was filled to the brim with high-quality Salt Beef, no skimping here. It was definitely freshly cooked on site and was comparable to the famous Brick Lane. As a very picky eater, I was impressed. The meal also came with a side of chips and coleslaw for only £7.95, a generous portion of food. After thanking the guys at the gym for their recommendation, I plan on making this a weekly post-workout tradition. The restaurant is immaculately clean and the attention to detail is evident. With great service, delicious food, and exceptional cleanliness, I can confidently say that I will be returning for more. Thumbs up, I'll definitely be back!
