Reviews - Muziris
Reviews summary
Muziris, a small gem renowned for its Kerala cuisine, faces mixed experiences among diners. While the food remains a highlight, with dishes like chicken biriyani and Travancore Chicken receiving high praise, service issues and food quality inconsistencies mar the overall experience. Diners have encountered rude staff and delays, with some receiving incorrect orders or poorly prepared meals. Despite these hurdles, many loyal patrons appreciate the authentic flavors and commend the taste of dishes such as sea food biryani and King Prawn fry. Improvements in service and ambiance are needed to enhance this beloved establishment’s reputation.

This restaurant offers incredible Kerala cuisine that surpasses other Kerala restaurants in Eastham. It truly captures the authentic flavors of Kerala. If you're searching for the best Kerala food, this is the place to be. The only downside is that the beer prices are high, likely due to their location in the center of London. View all feedback.

Very good Kerala foods available. I really like the taste of special recipes of Muziris. Sadhya is one of my favorite food from Muziris
One of the worst service I ever seen in London. Not even responsible to provide tissues or a water of bottle even after 10 minutes the customer takes the seat in the hotel. The staff behaves like there is no other hotel in the London.
We went there in search of authentic taste of Kerala and were not disappointed. Thought the atmosphere and service was a bit dull, all the dishes we ordered were flavourful.
This is our go-to place for catering! Their chicken biriyani is to die for. For our most recent event, we ordered Travancore Chicken as one of our starters which was just divine. Their staff are very kind and friendly as well which adds another layer of satisfaction as a customer. Highly recommend.

The receptionist at the restaurant was incredibly rude. Despite ordering food online and being told that delivery would be possible within 30 minutes, we were informed that they could no longer serve us. We had already paid for our order and had to go through the hassle of requesting a refund. When I tried to discuss the situation with a staff member at the restaurant, I was rudely dismissed and told that they were too busy to deal with my concerns. If the restaurant is unable to deliver food due to being busy, they should not be listed as available for online ordering. Additionally, they should consider hiring someone new to answer the phone, as the current receptionist struggled to understand English and showed no empathy towards my issues with the order.
This restaurant is one of the most authentic South Indian restaurants, with a focus on Keralan cuisine. I have visited several times and have always been fully satisfied with the quality of the food. The only downside is that it is located on the outskirts of London, making it difficult for them to showcase their culinary expertise to a wider audience. However, this restaurant stands out as the only place I have found with a diverse menu including Venison, Wild boar, and Rabbit dishes, in addition to the usual Kerala favorites like beef. It is rare to find restaurants serving venison in an Indian style, with the exception of a few Sri Lankan restaurants that use it as a substitute for Beef or Pork.
This restaurant in London serves the best Kerala food. Their appams are excellent and the Aviyal is very tasty. The Beef Fry was superb. Despite being located on a busy street and having unimpressive outside decor, the food is delicious.
Thank you Sal for an excellent outside catering service for my husbands 80th birthday last Sunday, everyone commented on your food and how tasty it was, even four days after the event someone rang to say how much they enjoyed it. I would recommend it to anyone.
Decent food and restaurant most of the times but lately they're many situations where in the food isnt upto the mark esp dosas. At one instance,The batter seemed to be v sour and aged and hence dosas turned out to be horrible in taste..we didnt confirm to ourselves until we ate half of the dosa..the manager didnt even bother to check after we complained .he stright away told the batter news fresh without even checking with the chef. Didnt even come back to discuss throughout our time there. Here comes another bad experience today in the name of takeaway. Ordered a mysore masala dosa with a growling stomach only to get disappointed. The dosa was burnt and sour. Really upset that the managers are not even checking what the chefs are delivering! Money waste and moreover we had to cook for dinner having no energy left to order again!

A small jewel in east london. best kerala eating in the city without doubt. the non-Veg dishes are amazing!
The food was fantastic! We ordered a variety of vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes for a group of 40 and everyone had a great time.
The food(Onam Sadhya) we ordered from Muzris was very tasty. It was for around 65 people in Brentwood and the review we got from everyone was very good.. We'll done Sal.
