Was londonphilphil at Durga a mag?
After visiting a few temples in Ilford, we decided to grab some fruit and lunch on Ilford Lane. Our favorite spot is Durga, where the staff is friendly and helpful, and they serve up delicious food. The consistent crowd at the restaurant is a clear indication of the consistently tasty food. The staff are always willing to assist you in choosing from a diverse selection of both savory and sweet dishes. View all feedback.

What NasirSher dislikes about Durga:
Tried over charging and then explained that if I had ordered online it would have been cheaper. He got caught out overcharging and tried to make excuses. In the end I walked out. avoid these thieves. View all feedback.

This restaurant offers a variety of delicious tikkis, pakodas, samosas, and dahi bara chaats, along with delectable sweets like ladoos and jalebis. It is a paradise for those looking for Delhi/Punjab style options in the Ilford/Barking area. In addition, they serve Chole bhature and Aaloo/Paneer Kulche.

I had been hearing about Durga for years and finally decided to pay a visit. The desserts are delicious, although not exactly my preference, but the Ladoos and milk cake are exceptional. This restaurant specializes in vegetarian dishes. I recommend trying the pakorey (fried dumplings) and aloo tikki (potato cutlets). On weekends, they serve Amritsari kulchey which go perfectly with a cold Lassi. Be sure to call ahead as they tend to sell out quickly. The staff is friendly and the ambience is inviting. Whenever I'm in the mood for savory treats, Durga is a must-visit for me.

Durga's is a cozy spot in Ilford Lane that specializes in Indian sweets and street food. The limited seating area makes it perfect for a quick stop while shopping. The food is delicious and portions are generous, perfect for sharing with friends. The staff are friendly and helpful, making the experience even more enjoyable. With a focus on vegetarian dishes, Durga's offers a diverse menu with standout items like the Amritsari kulchey and pakoras. Despite occasional issues with service speed and cleanliness, the overall experience at Durga's is highly recommended for those looking for traditional North Indian flavors in East London.

I love this place. it is very clean and pleasant to be. they really feel that the owners are proud of their food. the vegetarian food is excellent. we ordered flower flowers paratha, aloo paratha and halva puri. the day we went, they had a limited menu because of diwali. the puri and paratha were made to order so really fresh and tasty. can not wait to go back when the full menu is available.

With a fully vegetarian menu full of authentic Punjabi classic, this restaurant is a must. but while you can invite and have a nice lunch, this restaurant really shines as a gift; offers the best hearty snacks in the Indian cuisine. without this pakoras a walk after ilford lane would not be finished!

Worst dahi balle I have ever tasted... total waste of money!!! There was black pepper in the hakka noodles... they really need to hire a better chef.
