Excellent Chili Verde and Molcajete. The salsa that comes with the chips was delicious. And a decent Pina colada. All at fair prices. I'm just a gringo, but lived in Mexico for a while, and this is the best Mexican food I've had north of border states. It's worth a side trip off I-80! View all feedback.
What Marcia Lantz doesn't like about La Cascada:
The service was the worst I’ve seen. We waited over 30 min to just get our drink order and then it was only after we called out to get service. They ran out of rice and beans at one point so that took over 20 min. Our food didn’t come for over 45 min. The quality was ok to good. Some people walked out because of the service. We won’t be coming back. View all feedback.

It's the amazing place that I ever I went for the 1st time ever in Red Oak, Iowa city Square.
My daughter and I had a great dinner here! The shrimp fajitas were delicious. Friendly service and a beautiful space.

Food was an authentic taste of Mexico. I've been to many border towns. It was real tasty of the culture. Atmosphere was good for a Sunday afternoon. Service was excellent, drinks were fabulous.
