Franks Holy Smoke Bbq - Red Oak

I eat a lot of barbecue. I have to say that the brisket here is melt in your mouth tender and very flavorful even without Frank's delicious sauce. We had the brisket, sausage and mac and cheese and our meal was excellent! I highly recommend this place if you are a true Texas barbeque fan!

Holy Smoke was sooooo good! The food was worth the price and atmosphere was relaxed and friendly. Definitely going back soon.

I just happened to be near the area and looking for bbq... it must be my lucky day! Delicious sliced brisket- so tender it melt on your tongue. And the Lockhart Sausage? Spicy- like I like it- and perfect. It is actually brisket with black pepper and the casings are tender and delicious! It is located in a very old read mostly original building on main in Ovilla, so not fancy but authentic for sure. This kind of bbq should be eaten in such a place. Two very ladies at the counter and a very pleasant experience. I will be back!
