Contribute Feedback What Gladyce Walsh likes about Foxey's Hangout:
Foxeys Hangout in Red Hill is rather a low key to fall on the way through the red hill. They have a small little restaurant that sits high with a beautiful view over their winery. You can sit on your deck and order small plates to share. The tomato salad and the pastry roles are definitely worth a test! View all feedback.
What Genesis Harvey doesn't like about Foxey's Hangout:
beautiful experience! that eating was divine, really enjoyed the food me experience and all our waiters were sup friendly. the winery itself is beautiful and intimate, and we enjoyed our place in the sun br View all feedback.
Food is great. Atmosphere is great. Wine is great. Grief They cook everything in front of you, which is also fun. Grief Grief I loved the wine so much that I wanted to buy a whole box. They just wanted to charge stupid prices for a box of wine. Grief Grief So I went down the street, found a better wine at almost 1/3 of the price. Grief Grief It was a good day.
For those who like arrogant people, and for those who want to pay to be verbally abused, Foxey Hangout has exactly the right mix. Grief Foxeys Hangout has destroyed our friendly culture, which leaves our interstatic visitors speechless, and with an impression of melbourmers are rude and snobbbish. Beware of making your own spark experience. The operator stormed us through our session (which we bayed and paid), literally told us, he wished he did not want what this did not have to do, and said he would prefer a bottle of wine to be a bottle of wine to buy when he refused to refuse US two bottles (we booked for 2 and he would only make us 1. speechless

After a trip to the strawberry farm we came here for lunch. We were guided where they can park on arrival. The restaurant only takes walks and no reservations, so we arrived to wait at noon (1 pm); be a group of five and a weekend. Grief We were focused on the wine cellar for a wine tasting while we have been waiting for. If you look at the wine tasting menu, this is usually $ 8 per person with 10 wines ranging from sparkling whites to rose to the different red wine sites and a sweet wine in the end. Two of us tasted 4 wines that were ultimately while waiting for a table. Surprisingly, the wait was waiting for a short time (we came through 4 and our table was ready). Grief The restaurant itself is not large with a seating area indoor and outdoor overlooking the beautifully grown vineyards and the green hill. The tables were more like coffee tables that gave themselves a feeling in front of a fireplace and just catch up with friends and family. Grief The menu is simple and serves to share with each plate that contains $ 12. If you prevoured that some plates had greater portions than others and can be for some (tip: take a look at photos to get a better idea to get a better idea, but the staff will also be advised ). The menu also offers a "Let us know for us" for $ 35 per person where you will receive everything in the menu in the menu, which has recommended the staff, will be a light lunch. Between five of us we spent a little more than 100 dollars (about $ 20-30 per person) on a light lunch (no desserts) and 3 drinks (2 coffee and 1 wine); So we were a bit better to do a la carte, considering that we had two smaller appetite on the table. The food itself was very simply presented on a white plate where the focus was not on the presentation, but rather a simple homemade food that had wine, good views and great company. (Tip: Order the bread to fill it a little) Grief Overall, a very comfortable room is only to cool and enjoy everything that is offered in a winery, and although nothing was surprisingly about the food, it was comfort food (a bit like snack / finger food), which you easily with friends / Family during the catch could have high. Grief Courts that make up this review: Grief Bread, olive oil and pistachio spice (you can also have half a loaf if you want) Atlantic Salmon with Miso Mayo Mushrooms X2 Roast of Capsicum, Anchovies, Capers BBQ Watch Spiced meatballs, yogurt dip Avocado, walnuts and pancetta Grief Follow me on Instagram for more photos: @ Fo0die
