Vietnamese Garden - Red Deer

Came here for dinner after a few days in Red Deer on busines. Best meal by far. Had salad rolls and #37 38 outstanding food with great service and very clean nice atmosphere. Highly recommended.

We visited this restaurant with a group of Vietnamese visitors pre pandemic and quite by accident noticed it again as we were driving by a couple of weeks ago. Same owner and menu...prices up a bit but not too surprising. Huge servings (having seen the size of bowls boing to other dines we elected to share one big bowl...which kitchen thoughtfully split for us into two bowls). Fairly standard Vietnamese fare but with a little chili sauce quite tasty. Very popular locally with all the food delivery folks coming into the restaurant for pickup while we were there.

What makes the food so good is the very helpful and nice staff. I have never had a bad meal here. The food is hot and tasty. My two most favorite things.

Ordered delivery. The salad rolls were good and the peanut sauce was too salty and lacked a real peanut flavour. The vermicelli bowl had great spring rolls but the pork was too salty on its own, not to mention when I added the fish sauce and hoisin. Not very balanced flavours.
