The food here is excellent. The atmosphere is very nice. Felt comfortable. Service was great too. Thumbs up for sure.
This restaurant is located just down the street from Costco and from the outside it seems like a small pub. When you walk through the doors it's surprising a very large country type of restaurant/pub. There is a large screen that they play sports on and there are a lot of tables to choose from. We ordered a beef dip, potato skins and mac & cheese bites, and it all was good. The restaurant was clean, as were the washrooms and the waitress was nice and friendly. Next time we are in town, we will definitely go back and try more food.
The hideout is always a good place to go. Love the jalapeño and Cheddar soup. And Sunday's they have the half priced wings - can't go wrong there. They have a Cajun wing that is not on the menu but is delicious. My spouse had a Lasagna, which was wonderful as well. My only recommendation is that it is a little chilly in there which is nice when it's +30 outside, otherwise you might want to bring a sweater. The reason it got 4 stars and not 5 is that there was no wifi. The waitress even restarted the router and it just made it worse. No big deal but we were trying to see if anything interesting was playing at the theatre.
I was here with a team of colleagues at the end of September. Not quite sure who chose the location, but we managed to book an area where about two dozen of us could gather and chat. I found it typical loud and had to talk at an elevated level to make a conversation. Many TV stations show a variety of sporting events. The food was okay, nothing unforgettable. Appropriately expensive. A reasonable parking space around the building. The staff from memory were efficient. Most unlikely to return unless I have to return to the same amount.
