Contribute FeedbackSwiss Chalet has been a beloved spot for many, offering delicious chicken dishes and excellent service. However, recent experiences at the Red Deer location have left some diners disappointed. Complaints range from overcooked food to slow service, wrong orders, and even unavailability of certain menu items. Despite these issues, some diners continue to praise the quality of the food and the friendly service they receive. While the restaurant may have its ups and downs, it still remains a popular choice for those looking for a hearty and satisfying meal.
The food was always acceptable, a great Chicken Outlet for over 60 years in Canada. Unfortunately Cara has allowed the Red Deer Operation to crash for a second time, shame on you CARA. This time you need corporate staff under direct control of CARA and not another out of control franchisee. CARA you must reopen this Red Deer Store with proper, well trained, courteous staff who are direct employees of CARA.
Went for Christmas and they had a great specials for Christmas meals along with their regular menu. When they have specials, it is a great value for your money. Good place for the whole family. Their beef dishes are really good.
The Red Deer location did not have the deals that we had and have previously seen on the TV. The chicken and potatoes were over cooked. We were very disappointed.

We were looking forward to dining here the other evening, but after standing in the doorway and waiting to be acknowledged (only one table was occupied in the whole place), we were told in a rather unfriendly manner that they had no chicken, no beef, and no pasta that night. Needless to say, we left for another restaurant.
