I usually go to Red Deer Buffet, and I really enjoy it. They have excellent shrimp! They used to have these little veggie balls called "house special" that I loved, but I haven't seen them since 2005. I really wish they would bring them back because that's what initially got me hooked!

The service is quick and friendly, but the standout feature is definitely the food. I can't understand why some people don't like it; perhaps they are overly picky or have unrealistic expectations. In terms of buffets, the food is typical Western-Chinese cuisine—nothing particularly unexpected—but there’s a great variety, and even young children will find plenty of tasty choices! I highly recommend this restaurant for fantastic Chinese food at a reasonable price!

There’s always plenty of seating and a hearty portion of food, and they treat us like family. The owner remembers us each time we come back, which may influence my opinion a bit, but I also value the fact that my MSG allergy has never flared up after dining here, which is a big advantage.

While it had a strong garlic flavor, it overall felt quite bland—definitely not something I’d order again. I’m really disappointed. On the other hand, my favorite burger there is the Uncle Sirloin with cheddar and bacon; that's my go-to choice. Overall, A&W does have the best burgers, and as a bonus, they use grass-fed beef.
