Addy's - Red Deer

One thing that sets Addy's apart from other small restaurants is the freshness of the food.

I discovered this place as I was sick of subway, and pizza. The food is delicious, I only got to try it twice before I had to leave town. Will make on my list of places I have to go when in town. Food is priced reasonable, and it will fill you up. Very small place only three tables, so I usually got my food to go.

We ordered from Addy's for my birthday on the 24th. The food was wonderful. I had the falafel platter with the tabbouleh salad. It was divine the falafel were cooked perfectly and the tabbouleh and hummus were perfectly balanced. My hubby had shawarma platter with the olive salad. The meat was spiced well and was not over cooked. We also ordered mhmara which I have to say was the highlight of the order. Hubby and I have eaten middle eastern food before but have never tasted something so yummy. We also ordered kebbe and yallanji and the baklava they were great.We will certainly be back. Looking forward to trying the pies and everything else!

We were going for a picnic and being a lover of Middle Eastern food, I decided to try Addy's. Terrific place! They have eat-in and take-out available. Clean restaurant, wonderful friendly staff and the most delicious food. Best falafel I have ever had, anywhere! We got the Spinch Pie - excellent, the Olive Pie - excellent, the Falafel Plate - excellent and the Baba Ganoush was superb! The Tabouleh Salad was perfect! Everything was outstanding! You will love it!

Addy's is not a fancy place. There are only three tables, so be prepared if you are going at a busy time. What they do have is excellent food. I tried the grill plate for variety and was not disappointed. The food is very flavourful and they give generous quantities. I will be back.
