Great soft-serve ice cream and crispy sweet corn dog batter. A nice snack spot if you're in the area. Quick service late on a Saturday. I got the freezer soft serve with Oreo Reese's topping. View all feedback.
What Yvonne Rau doesn't like about Bud's Jolly Kone:
Horrible service, lady wasn't friendly at all. Just paid for an over priced salad. The lady that was cooking our food was touching all of our food with bare hands with long finger nails. I feel so grossed out. View all feedback.
This place is a hidden gem. If you are traveling through Red Bluff, make sure to stop here. You might be tempted to go to McDonald's or Wendy's for a safe choice, but this place is worth the visit. The soft serve ice cream is excellent, the milkshake was one of the best I've had in a long time, and the double cheeseburger was delicious. I hope to return someday.
I have always enjoyed going to Bud's Jolly Kone. It holds a special place in my heart, as I have been a loyal customer for as long as I can remember. One of the things I appreciate about this restaurant is that it is a Christian-based company that includes Bible verses on the receipts. One of my favorite things about Bud's Jolly Kone is the milkshakes, which come in a wide variety of flavors. I highly recommend trying one of the additional flavors from the menu. While I enjoy many of the flavors, my go-to is the Brownie Batter. My father's favorite is Butterscotch. Unfortunately, my grandmother was disappointed when they did not offer Boysenberry flavor. Overall, the milkshakes are fantastic! However, I was a bit disappointed with the burgers during my recent visits. The special sauce had a sweet flavor that I did not particularly enjoy, and it seemed different from what I remembered. Despite this, the burgers are still tasty and satisfying if you're hungry. I wanted to mention this as it was a noticeable change for me.
Food is okay milk shakes are not consistent. Staff just ignores you at the window while you freeze in the cold cause you can?t order inside.
A true gem of a place. If you?re passing through Red Bluff, go here. You might want McDonald?s or Wendy?s to play it safe, but this place is worth the trip. Soft serve is really good, milkshake was one of the best I?ve had in a while. And the double cheeseburger was bangin. Hope I can make it back someday.
