They accommodated our large group quickly and the service was excellent! The food was fresh and delicious and the price was very reasonable. We will definitely be going back, a wonderful and affordable spot in Red Bank. View all feedback.
I got a burrito from here and OMG. The burrito was drenched in sauce and was so good. The food tasted authentic and delicious. Would definitely recommend for a quick mexican meal.
I came here around ten years ago, and I thought it wasn't good then. I gave it a shot again a decade later because of the good reviews. Let's just say it's still pretty bad! It's my lowest review yet for a Mexican restaurant! I had the combination dinner which came with a tostada, burrito, and a Tamal. The tostada was TERRIBLE! It was so bland! The meat had no flavor whatsoever either! The burrito was good! I asked for chipotle cream sauce on the side for it which I thought was good as well. The Tamal was HORRIBLE! It had no flavor at all! The meat was dry and tasteless! It barely had any green sauce on it, and the little it did had was flavorless! The dinner came with rice and beans which was pretty bad as well! The only thing that was good here was the burrito with chipotle cream sauce, and it wasn't great! I definitely don't recommend coming here for Mexican food!
Great spot for dinner or lunch. Sit down comes with chips and dip. Burrito was delicious, always is. Easy parking and great for a quick bite
Food was good, however Grubhub ruined it by leaviing it outside in the cold at the wrong address.
I usually visit restaurants on Broad St when visiting Red Bank but I was in the mood for Mexican and found Senior Peppers with a quick google search. Senior Peppers is a small mom and pop Mexican restaurant with a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. The staff were friendly and prompt with bringing chips and salsa and taking my order. Despite there being few people in the restaurant, it was clear that the establishment was thriving as there were a constant stream of takeout orders being fulfilled. Now let's talk about the food. I ordered the Burrito Texano which was highly recommended by other reviewers and boy, it did not disappoint. It was delicious with a creamy sour cream sauce and flavor. The burrito was enormous and filled my entire plate. The portions were generous, and I left feeling fully satisfied I had to pack leftovers for lunch the next day. I highly recommend Senior Peppers to anyone looking for authentic Mexican cuisine that is both delicious and reasonably priced. The restaurant may be small, but the flavors are big and bold, and it's clear that the owners take pride in their food and their establishment. Whether you choose to dine in or order takeout, you won't be disappointed.
