Once a beloved lunchtime spot, the restaurant on Broad Street in Reading has recently garnered negative feedback due to a significant decline in service and food quality. Patrons have reported rude staff interactions, overlooked orders, and cold, unappetizing meals. Customers felt ignored or mistreated, with one leaving after witnessing multiple people being served before them. Additionally, chaotic counter service and unprofessional employee conduct have left diners disillusioned. Although the décor and value for money received praise from a few, the overall consensus urges potential visitors to seek dining experiences elsewhere to avoid disappointment.

I visited this restaurant today after work and I can honestly say it was a complete disaster. I would recommend avoiding it. The staff were rude and did not seem happy to have customers. The food was cold and had been sitting in water for a long time. The pasta had also been sitting in water before being served. Additionally, the food was very bland and lacked flavor. I do not understand how this restaurant has received any positive reviews. I suggest eating somewhere else to avoid a disappointing experience.
Tried to grab a quick lunch, the woman on the counter wasn't listening to what we were saying. She tried to cancel my order to say she'd already done it when she hasn't spoken to me. She tried to charge myself and my housemate twice each and refused to accept that I'd payed until I physically showed her my online banking. This is unacceptable. Furthermore there was an employee talking to a customer next to us negatively about her managers and swearing. This made our lunch break quite unpleasant. Food was fine and there was a nice man doing the pizzas.
I visited the branch on Broad Street in Reading today around 1:30pm. I was extremely disappointed with the lack of service. Upon entering, I joined the queue to place my order. Despite being next in line, the person behind me was served first. The server then proceeded to overlook me and serve two other customers behind me. I attempted to get his attention, but he ignored me completely. After witnessing three people being served before me, I decided to leave. I informed the server that he had overlooked me, but he seemed confused and unresponsive. The restaurant was not busy, so I was unsure of the reason for the poor service. I am patient, but I refuse to spend my money in a place where customers are not properly attended to.
We loved the food in Wolf. The service was really good and the staffs were very friendly. My daughter loved the food !!!

DEFINITELY NOT WORTH THE HYPE OR PRICE The food was sub-par and not worth the price. Felt like something I could make at home a sauce from a supermarket. The staff where rude and unhelpful. When we asked for something off of the online menu we had the response of we don 't know what that is and had to customise our order to match what was on the menu. We were then overcharged compared to the online menu which we contested but we were ultimately denied this. We went after work and it was not busy, as we expected. However, we did not expect the food to be cold, the pasta was already out and sitting in water before we got there. The steak was sat in water and was quite tough, the toppings looked like they had been sat out for hours. The spicy sauce was bland. The only positives were the uniqueness of putting pasta in the wrap and the bruchetta tomatoes.
I’d like to think of Wolf like the Subway version but for pasta, wraps or pizza. It’s basically a “make your own“ dish kinda place. You choose between either a pizza, wrap or pasta (penne or spaghetti) base, select a meat/veggie option to go along with the base then add extras like other veggies or cheese. The staff are really nice, prices are fair the food is prepared really quick so the place is handy if you’re in a rush.
Went here today after work, can honestly say it’s an absolute disaster and ensure you avoid. First things first the staff were rude and appeared not happy to have customers. The food was COLD and was stood in the “juice” (more like water) for what seemed like a decade. Same with the pasta, was in the water before we even arrived food selection part. To top it off, the food was BLAND as anything, no flavour whatsoever. Don’t understand any of the reviews above 2/3 stars. Don’t eat here, save yourself and eat elsewhere.
I highly recommend Wolf if you're in the mood for personalized pasta, pizza, or salad. I've been there several times, and the food quality has always been consistently excellent. Their milkshakes and coffee are also fantastic and very reasonably priced. While the seating is somewhat limited, the beautiful presentation of their food packages makes up for it. Plus, the portion sizes are impressive for the price. Overall, it’s a great spot for a delicious meal!
I really enjoyed the chicken pilada topped with the delicious cheese sauce. I would definitely recommend Wolf Street for tasty, healthy, and convenient meal options. The staff is friendly and makes sure that every customer has a positive experience. I will definitely return.
