Description

Upper Crust in the main train station offers a reliable option for travelers looking for a quick bite. While the prices are high, the food is decent and service is efficient. Some customers have complained about unfriendly staff and high prices, but others appreciate the tasty meals and quick service. It seems to be a hit or miss experience, with some enjoying the experience while others feel let down by the cost. Overall, Upper Crust offers a convenient option for grabbing a meal while on the go, but improvements in customer service and pricing may be needed.

My experience at Upper Crust was disappointing. I used the 'Too Good To Go' app to order a surprise afternoon bag for £2.99. I was glad I only paid £2.99 because the baguette I received was not worth the original price of £6.49. It only had one lettuce leaf, a few bits of chicken, strange tasting coleslaw, and no butter. I had to fix it up by removing the lettuce, adjusting the coleslaw, and adding butter. If I had paid full price, I would have considered returning it for a refund.

The staff at the restaurant was friendly, however, the food was not worth the price. It really emphasizes the impact of the cost of living crisis. The prices were high and the food was disappointing, but at least it was more reliable than the trains.

I had a delicious breakfast at this restaurant with a great selection to choose from. The service was fast and the customer service was excellent. The coffee and pastries were also very well made.

Went to UpperCrust to get coffee and pastry, service was poor, Lady put my drink on other side of counter, then snatched my money. When I asked for extra milk, the look I got was as if I'd asked for gold. I said it again, and asked if she understood what is said. She said yes but I'd had a Late, and didn't need extra milk. I explained that sometimes some places coffee was stronger than others, she said I should have said that in the first place. Both ladies were more interested in being lively to each other, than the customer. Won't go there again. Thought I'd try for a change. Will go to Costa, at least I know I can ask for extra milk without a look of how dare you ask for milk.
