The... read more Honestly, we only ended up at this restaurant because we couldn't get into one of the two Wetherspoons nearby. What a pleasant surprise it turned out to be. The service was outstanding; they didn't rush us to order, kept us informed about our order's progress, and tailored their service to fit each party's needs. The food was, in my wife's words, absolutely stunning. She claimed it was the best vegetarian Indian meal she had ever had. I can't recall the name of the dish I ordered (number 55 on the menu), but it was spicy and flavorful. The meat was incredibly tender, as if it had been slow-cooked. The pilau rice was light and fluffy, and the peshwari naan was perfectly done. My wife mentioned that the only downside was that the restaurant wasn't in South Wales where we reside. I would definitely recommend it to anyone in the area, and if we ever find ourselves back in Reading, we will likely return.

I have tried all the non vegetarian indian restaurants in reading, Papadoms is miles ahead better than any off the others don’t be like me originally put off by... read more I have tried all the non vegetarian indian restaurants in reading, Papadoms is miles ahead better than any off the others don’t be like me originally put off by the outside decor, when inside you receive a warm welcome from Robbie and his lovely family, the food is 5 stars plus having eaten there for the past 9 months weekly i would look nowhere else the price is within keeping with the other non vegetarian indian restaurants but the food towers above
