Had a wedding last night at the Reading(we are of nj) a bunch of us went to dinner and it was a great breakfast! The diner was pretty busy being a Sunday morning, we sat pretty fast. The waitress was on the spot with our coffees she just kept her coming, just what we needed after the party all night! Breakfast was tasty and hot, great fries that are difficult to find in a diner. What User doesn't like about The American Diner:
For the first time, we ate it for breakfast, my eggs Beni was very good, housekeepers not so good. We had a wonderful waitress. For the second time, we were told that they were using real Turkey to make their clubs, not! It was good, but not really Turkey, it was lunch meat that was cut thick. Disappointed! Service was good. This must be the most stalled and tasteless burger I had in a LONG TIME! There was absolutely no wort about it. Sure wasn't mediocre as I asked. The Burgerpatty looks like she just sat in hot water before she was placed on the bungalow! Fries are barely cooked. Sad, the most tasteful thing I had was the water with a slice of lemon! Absolutely not come back!
The workers are beautiful here and the food is very cheap. I always get exactly the same, The Baltimore Special. It is a wide selection of breakfast and comes with a wealth of food for a very low price. It comes in about 10-15 minutes every time without mistake. In addition, it is open all night.
My husband and I call it Our place The food is wonderful , comfort food, Everyone is Lovely.. it clean with a little Retro diner feel, You can watch the people go by .. it 's just a familiar cozy place.. love it here
