We were attending a concert in Reading, PA, and were looking for a place to have a bite to eat beforehand. From the time we walked to the door, throughout the meal and when we were leaving, the staff was AMAZING! So friendly, so welcoming, totally top notch! You all need to go there! I have never had such fabulous service! I highly recommend!! Wished we could have given 100 stars!! Thank you to the wonderful door per... View all feedback.
What Alan Maidenbaum doesn't like about Saucony Creek Franklin Station Brew Pub:
Went on a Tuesday pretty much empty. They were out of four items on the menu so it was a limited menu. Food was ordinary just the brewery they don't have regular alcohol just local Pennsylvania. Bartender Ty was very nice might be worth another try on a busier night but all in all a very nice place inside nice to sit outside but just a little bit ordinary. They definitely need a better menu. Food was limited-a lot of items on menu are not available. Beer was not very good and price for flight of 4 beers was $15! Cool building but that’s about it.

The atmosphere of the old train station is a great setting. The food and beer are some of the best in Berks County.
We went before the Ryan Adams show. I loved the building. It was spacious and comfortable. I got the smash burger and I thought it was delicious. My husband got the steak sandwich and said it was average. Seems like servers were still finding their groove but working their butts off. I would definitely come back when I see another show at the Santander arena.
Went here with family for a Father's Day jazz brunch. They seemed like they were very unprepared for the day. They had three vegan options, which I appreciated. However, two of us who ordered from the vegan offerings waited almost an hour before being told the beyond meat was spoiled and that we had to order something else. Midway through that hour, a bus person brought us a couple of beyond burgers, then quickly took them away, saying they were for another table. When we finally did get our food, it came out one person at a time with about 15-20 mins between each person's food. The food itself was delicious. Our server was unable to remember anything we asked for and had to be repeatedly reminded what we were waiting for (drink refills, food, check, credit card after paying. He was obviously very overwhelmed and new. The atmosphere, live music, and company made up for it.Vegetarian options: The Brussel hash made vegan was delectable. The avocado toast was surprisingly substantial and filling.
