I was in Reading a couple of weeks ago for work, and I am so very glad I stopped here. I had a great experience. Had the mofongo and rice and beans loved it all, and in love with the rice and beans . I also had the good fortune to meet a very helpful Dominican couple, Lenny and Lou who were traveling from West Virginia and made a special trip for the food here, and assisted me in ordering.

A great spot to grab a delicious sandwich and empanadas!! The staff are very kind and tell you what items they like the most! The place is clean and the wait time for food was quick. I enjoyed visiting for a quick lunch date with my partner.

I experienced this gem today for the first time. Whoever made my meal is no cook, he is an artist committed to the passionate pursuance of culinary depth. The place by decor standards is completely humble. Yet, what I tasted was a flavorful explosion. I ordered the house salad and steak trifongo. Traveling through many parts of Latin America, I found nothing to rival what I ate here today. The trifongo was composed of many elements holding different texture that was fascinating with every fork. The flavor was well balanced and yet held a level of mystery. The end result was a magical, palate pleasing, culinary experience. Like, I was dumbfounded by how it was created, overjoyed to actually experience it, and angry at myself for not finding this place sooner. I live in Lancaster and the distance will mean nothing to return to this place of edible magic!!!!
