Was Shirley Ressler at Rays Tavern a mag?
We really enjoyed our visit to Reading. The antique dealer recommended Ray's place and it did not disappoint. The burgers were so good we made a return trip on our way back to Fl. The food was fresh and reasonably priced. The service was fast and friendly. The locals made us feel VERY welcome. I enjoyed my visit and will be returning the next time I visit the area. What Katie White dislikes about Rays Tavern:
No idea where to sit because therebwas ni sign or person to greet you. The bar tender behind the bar just have us a dirty look and turned away. We left so not sure if the foods good. The service sure was lacking. View all feedback.

Only reason it didn't get 5 stars was because it was so dark in there and the interior definitely needs an upgrade. The food as always is absolutely delicious. One of my favorite places to eat. Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5

Just moved to the area, and I've definitely found my new favorite spot. Perfect little dive bar, burgers were great, beer was ice ice ice cold, service was excellent, and the fried broccoli was incredible. Can't wait to go back! It is cash only... but they have an atm. We love this place. We are lake people but come up all year around always a stop at Ray's. Their burgers are wonderful and Taco Thursday you can't beat a better place for dinner. Darryl and Kelly are the usual servers for us, they have become friends. The cocktails are terrific! You will not be disappointed.
