Dans At Green Hills - Reading

What a wonderful evening! The restaurant is very charming with an absolutely beautiful garden. The food was wonderful as was the service. My husband and I were celebrating our wedding anniversary and we were given glasses of champagne to celebrate. I can't wait to go back.

We drive 40 minutes to get to Dan's and it is always well worth the trip!! Monir and Bill run an exceptional restaurant. The food is creative and always delicious (love the sweet potato soup). Monir makes delicious cocktails!! The servers are all professional. We sat out on the patio this past time. It is absolutely lovely with beautiful old trees and white tablecloths on the tables. Everything is first class!! This is my favorite restaurant in Berks County!!

Hubby ordered pork chop, rare. Waitstaff said they would see if kitchen could do rare. Came out overdone. No one checked with hubby prior to making chop if he’d still want it if it couldn’t be done rare. I ordered filet, medium. Came out rare. Sent back and asked for freshly made sides once filet was cooked to temp. Served me the same sides as previously plated. Had to have waitstaff replace with fresh sides. Very disappointed. Waitress was very pleasant and attentive, not her fault kitchen staff was lacking this visit.

A little pricey, but worth it. Food was delicious. Service was top notch! Met another couple and we all enjoyed it.

Food was great service solid more than what I expected in the Reading area!
