This was my first visit here (10/26/18). The waitress mentioned they had shrimp grits, which is supposed to be some of the best in the state; 8th in the state according to a website that that made the claim about the top 10 restaurants in the state. I can't recall the website sorry. My wife I both ordered that item. In my opinion they lived up to the claim. The meal was fresh hot; and the shrimp were just right. For your money the portions were pretty good. The cost is fair for that type of meal but is just a touch above what I would usually pay for a lunch meal. The menu has a pretty good selection of items, including a small buffet and various salads, sandwiches and burgers. The restaurant is located in downtown Rayville. We showed up just after lunchtime so the restaurant was virtually empty. We received excellent service and the waitress was very pleasant.I would definitely eat here the next time I visit the Rayville area.
