Baerengarten Wirtshaus, Biergarten

The restaurant has been under new management since autumn 2015

When you go to Rutenfest, the locals know where to go for the best Biergarten Bärengarten! You can get a Mass…1 liter beer. No point in ordering one if you can’t finish. Pair that with a half grilled chicken (for meat lovers) and you have a great meal with friends while taking a break from the festival grounds.

I had dinner at their Biergarten when I stayed at Hotel Bärengarten. From what I could tell this is a popular place. I had some local dish, which was nice. The service was flawless. The overall experience was okay, nothing that would stand out.

We had s dinner here. The restaurant looks really nice and the Baerengarten plate we had for two was really good. The downside was the service as we where ignored quite often. We had waited 10 min before we where served. The service was more interested in cleaning tables than giving us the menu. This sort of went all through the evening and the restaurant was not even bussy. Food wise, they offervsolid german food with products from the region.

They have an excellent quality of the food. They could offer a little bit more different food and wines. Very friendly service (Manuela).
