Great cafe in Ravello's main square. My husband and I visited 3-4 times during our 6 day stay in Ravello. It is a nice place to relax and people watch at all times of the day. The servers were always friendly and helpful with any questions we had.
Get the donuts! Service was just okay, but the donuts with nutella filling were amazing, totally worth the wait.
Right on the main piazza, across from the Duomo, this neighbourhood caffe could be considered one of the central hangouts in little Ravello. Boasting 3 areas to convene: one right on the center of the piazza with tables and chairs for a relaxing aperitivo or relaxed coffee to watch village life, another the counter in the main shop on the corner, and the last is their private garden just up the street from the shop. All will offer you friendly service and a relaxed atmosphere, not to mention a strong cup of coffee.
I don't know about the other food there but the pastries and desserts are to die for. I went 4 times in 2 days
We staggered into Caffe Calce in Ravello looking for a cool (weather wise) place to recover from the five-minutes-climbing-stairs-in-this-record-breaking-weather-could-kill-you summer of 2023. Outside seating yet a cool breeze, cold drinks, light salads. We had both the cabrese and the melon prosciutto plates. Ordered a Margherita pizza to take home for dinner later in our air conditioned rental flat. All were delicious. Lovely service. This restaurant is connected to other businesses on same block with gelato, etc. yes please.
